Designsteins was commissioned by Bowtech Crossbows to provide their Excalibur product line with a fresh, updated look that would stand out against competitor products.
Since 1983, Excalibur brand has utilized a specific color pallet that has become a staple in the crossbow industry. With this in mind, we utilized Excalibur's existing style guide to reconfigure a new look that would appeal to a larger demographic, without losing brand recognition within their existing customer base.
With a quick-turn deadline, the rebrand went quickly and efficiently. Working close with the President of Bowtech, we designed 8 concepts with 2 rounds of revisions. Once a completed concept was approved, we created several packaging mockups consisting of various accessories for a final review. The new brand theme was then given final approval. A new style guide was created and we transitioned the new brand theme to over 32+ accessory packages for production.
